God’s Love Language
"..I also swore to you and entered into a covenant with you so that you became Mine,” declares the Lord GOD. ”
I love you, I love you, I love you, God has whispered over and over again to the soul of man. His love is no ordinary love for it is so vast one could never measure it. It is so deep we could never plummet it, so high we could never mount it. No tongue could ever declare its wonder, nor pen its unfathomable beauty. God’s love was given to us in one word, CALVARY and one person, JESUS. To plummet the depths of His love, one must delve deep into the fountain drawn from Emanuel’s veins where every sinner plunged beneath to lose all their guilt and stain. To reach the heights of His love one must climb the hill to Calvary for it is here His eternal love was nailed for all to see. To measure the cost of His love one only needs to look at the price God paid, for it cost Him the price of His only begotten Son. It was here at the place of Calvary that God declared His love for you to the entire world.
He has inscribed these eternal words into the very Heavens themselves; “I love you, I love you, I love you.” You are the love of His life, His most treasured possession for He gave all that He had just to call you His own. True love is measured only by the love of God, for God is love. His love will never fail you. It will never disappoint you. It will never dishonor you. He inscribed you on the palm of His hand for He has loved you with an everlasting love. This everlasting love means that there has never been a time in your life when God wasn’t loving you with the love of Calvary. Even in the most tragic moments in our lives when it seems that God is nowhere to be found, He is still there and His love for you has never changed and will never change. He has and will always love you.
Can you hear Him even now, deep down in the secret place of your heart where only God can descend? Whispers often speak the loudest to our souls. Train your ears to listen for the whispers of Heaven for they sweetly fall from the Savior’s lips.
If you listen closely, you will hear Him whispering even now,
I love you, I love you, I love you.
