God Is With Us
“Only do not rebel against the LORD; and do not fear the people of the land, for they shall be our prey. Their protection has been removed from them, and the LORD is with us; do not fear them.”
We belong to a God who is all-knowing and all-powerful. There is none that we could run to today or any day that is higher than Him. His throne is above every other throne whether on the earth, below the earth, or above the earth. Because everyone, good or evil, is under His feet of authority, we have no need to fear. What can man do to us when we belong to such an Almighty One as He? We can fully surrender every concern and every enemy in every battle to God. Whatever our battles are we can know that He is greater, He is bigger, and He is stronger, than any worry or fear that we have in life. God is able! Because of His position and because of who He is, we can walk confidently today and everyday, having no fear of people or of any situation that comes against us. Our enemies are no match for our God.
We are absolutely safe in the arms of God and in His arms we are protected and shielded in the day of spiritual battle. We must choose to guard our heart and mind from all worry, from all fear, reminding our heart throughout everyday that we are in the hands of the Mighty One and none can make claim to us but Him. We can lay all that is precious to us, our children, family, homes, relationships, concerns, etc., at His feet and they are safe there. God is the keeper of all of us! Whatever we relinquish into His hands of control we can rest, knowing that there is no better place they could be than with Him. When He is with us, having all of us, then our soul can know rest because we no longer carry the weight of those things that we worry over. God can take care of everything if we will but allow Him to. He longs for you to recognize that He is there and He is active in your life. Acknowledge His nearness in a fresh way today by calling out to Him from right where you are in your life.
Let God in.
