“But I do not consider my life as dear to myself that I might finish my course…”
Surrender…Oh Father, I surrender myself to You, to Your will and plan for my life.
Daddy, I do not count my life as important to myself but only for Your glory, Your undeniable calling upon me. I don’t want to have any regrets when my hands are aged, face worn and when my eyes are weak from the passing years. I beg for the bonds of Your love to wrap me up in Jesus with no way of escape. Don’t let me quit on You Father…please don’t ever let me quit on You. I want to finish my course as is pleasing to You. Make me a faithful servant for all the days of my earthly life and make me a faithful worshiper all the days of eternity.
You have set my course and the plans formed long ago in Your heart are unfolding steadily page by page with such wonder before me. My heart is so humble to know that You love me and even more that I’m allowed to serve You. I live to serve You Father and my constant heart’s cry is, “here I am Lord, send me.” Keep the prize before me and fuel a greater passion within me to make every day count for eternity. I will not be a quitter. You are worthy of so much more!
Keep me upon the ancient path of Your will and steady my hand upon the plow until the day You call me home. Make my life a living sacrifice of praise unto my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
