Dual Screen Wallpaper
 

You must have two monitors to take advantage of dual wallpaper. The two monitors must be connected and correctly configured on your computer to display a wallpaper across both monitor screens. Please note, the method for setting up dual screens will vary and may not be available as an option depending upon your operating system and hardware configuration.

Animated Wallpaper

To install the animated monthly wallpaper on your desktop, please click on the "Animated Wallpaper!" link. A dialog box will appear and, depending on which internet browser you use (Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc.) you will be prompted to 'Save', 'Open' or 'Run' the installer. Please choose the option that will allow you to 'Save' the wallpaper. Save the file to your desktop or to a folder on your computer that is easy to locate.

When the file has finished downloading, find the file, and double click on it to install the wallpaper.

On Windows XP systems, a security warning may appear asking if you are sure you want to Run the installer. To install the wallpaper, you must choose 'Run'.

 

The installer program will then appear. (Please note the graphic will change from month to month. Below is the image for the May wallpaper.) By default the files will be copied into your Program Files directory, click 'Browse' to install to a different directory.

Choose on the 'Install' button. After a few seconds, depending on the speed of your system, you should see the animated wallpaper on your desktop.

When you wish to change your wallpaper, please replace your animated wallpaper in the same way you would change your regular desktop wallpaper. You can find directions on how to change your wallpaper on the CrossCards Wallpaper page.)

Uninstalling Animated Wallpaper

To permanently uninstall the animated wallpaper click on Start > Control Panel > Add Remove Programs and Locate the "Crosscards <Month> Animated Wallpaper" you wish to remove and then click on the 'Change/Remove' button.
